About Us

Jabal Al-Sabr Global Network

The Jabal Al-Sabr Global Network is an international scholarly and cultural media initiative established by the Jabal Al-Sabr Institute for Scientific and Cultural Studies under the leadership of Ayatollah Sayyid Abolfazl Tabatabaei Ashkezari.

In a rapidly changing world shaped by profound intellectual, political, and cultural transformations, the Muslim world faces fundamental questions concerning identity, justice, governance, and the future of civilization. Jabal Al-Sabr was founded to contribute to these conversations through thoughtful, research-based, and globally oriented media.

Our mission is to produce and disseminate high-quality analytical, educational, and documentary content that explores Islamic civilization, the intellectual foundations of the Islamic Resistance, and contemporary developments across the Muslim world. By connecting seminaries, universities, research institutions, scholars, and the broader public, we seek to promote informed dialogue and constructive intellectual engagement.

Our Core Principles

Islamic Civilization
We view Islamic civilization not merely as a historical legacy but as a living and dynamic intellectual tradition capable of addressing contemporary global challenges through faith, reason, and knowledge.

The Intellectual Tradition of Resistance
For Jabal Al-Sabr, resistance is understood as a comprehensive civilizational concept that emphasizes human dignity, cultural independence, social resilience, justice, and the capacity of societies to overcome crises.

A Global Perspective
Our audience extends beyond geographical boundaries. Through multilingual content, international collaborations, and dialogue with scholars worldwide, we aim to foster meaningful intellectual exchange across cultures and academic communities.

Shi'a Intellectual Heritage
Rooted in the rich scholarly tradition of Twelver Shi'a Islam, Jabal Al-Sabr promotes rational inquiry, ijtihad, justice, ethical responsibility, and constructive dialogue. We present this heritage as a civilizational resource for engagement with the wider Muslim world and the international community.

Our Objectives

  • Promoting a deeper understanding of Islamic civilization.
  • Encouraging scholarly dialogue on the thought and experience of Islamic Resistance.
